湖畔诗人
湖畔诗人（Lake Poets）是19世纪前半期生活于英格兰湖区的一批诗人，除去生活在湖区这一点之外，他们的写作风格其实没有太多相同点，只不过可以笼统地算入浪漫主义文学的范畴。
湖畔诗人中最重要的是华兹华斯、柯勒律治和骚塞，此外多萝西·华兹华斯、查尔斯·兰姆、玛丽·兰姆、查尔斯·劳埃德、哈特雷·柯勒律治、约翰·威尔逊和托马斯·德·昆西也占据一席之地。
命名
湖畔诗人（亦称Lake Poet School、Bards of the Lake、Lake School）最初是一个贬义词，给人一种忧郁、满腹牢骚的印象[1][2]。后来渐渐失去贬义，读者们开始喜欢上他们诗歌中描绘的湖区风景[3]。
