宽尾鹦鹉族(學名:Platycercini,台湾作澳洲草原鸚鵡族),為鸚形目舊世界鸚鵡科下的一個族。[1]現下屬10屬33種,其模式屬為愛爾蘭動物學家尼古拉斯·艾爾沃德·維格於1811年所建立的玫瑰鸚鵡屬。[1][2]
分類學
本族由英國鳥類學家普里多·約翰·塞爾比於1836年以亞科層級的「Platycercina」建立,同義於當時的寬尾鸚鵡亞科。[1][3][4]
現為吸蜜鸚鵡亞科下的虎皮鸚鵡也曾為本族成員之一,但後續的研究證明其關係與吸蜜鸚鵡及無花果鸚鵡更為接近而被重新分類。[5][6][7][8][1]
